Utrecht - Room - 15m²

The eleven star-shaped buildings of ‘De Sterren’ are a home away from home for hundreds of (partly international) students. The cosy courtyard is perfect to enjoy some afternoon sun, read a book or have a BBQ at one of the special BBQ spots. Truly a place to come home to! De Sterren may seem a little further away from the heart of Utrecht, but you can reach the city centre in less than ten minutes through the 'secret' bicycle tunnel under the Waterlinieweg. In addition, a five-minute bike ride will get you to the Utrecht Science Park and busses from both directions stop right at your front door. And by the way, De Sterren is in the middle of a beautiful park! So not only can you head out for a nice walk in the fresh air, but there are also plenty of fitness machines scattered throughout for a nice outdoor workout. Anything else you’d like?! Fun fact: this building used to be the provincial house of Utrecht! In 2013, the SSH transformed the building into student premises. At the time it was the first time such a thing happened in the Netherlands. Kinda special, isn’t it?!
