In the cozy neighborhood of Burgemeestersbuurt in Zaandam, 45 new single-family homes will be delivered in the upcoming period. These homes are being built by Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draaisma and come with the latest amenities and are fully gas-free. They are energy-efficient homes (BENG) equipped with good insulation, some solar panels, a heat pump, and a heat recovery system. The garden features a small terrace and a storage room. The front yard will not yet be completed, as this will take at least 12 months due to renovation of the public space at the front. Sometimes, new homes cannot be temporarily connected to the energy network, thus, a special battery system has been installed to ensure electricity supply.
