You’ll find over 1200 fellow students in the Tuindorp-West Complex (TWC) in Utrecht. Even though the old-fashioned flats date all the way back to the 1970s, they’re incredibly cheap to rent! That being said, you’ll be at Utrecht Overvecht station within the blink of an eye, cycle to the city in less than ten minutes and find yourself all the way in Utrecht Science Park after a 20-minute bike ride. TWC consists of a total of eight buildings spread over four streets: the Van Lieflandlaan, Gisbert Bromlaan, Frits Coerslaan and the Willem Schuylenburglaan. And this kinda makes TWC a student village of its own. Not only do you find a great number of fellow students; you’ll also find a lovely vegetable garden, a basketball and volleyball court, bicycle sheds, beer crates, free parking spaces, garden tables, benches - and so on. It’s safe to say that TWC is the mecca among students!
