In the cozy neighborhood of Burgemeestersbuurt in Zaandam, 45 new family homes will be delivered in the coming period. Each house is equipped with the latest amenities and is completely gas-free. The houses are energy-efficient (BENG) with good insulation, some solar panels, a heat pump, and a heat recovery system. The garden features a small terrace and a shed. The front garden will not be delivered yet, as it will take at least 12 more months due to renovation of the public space at the front. There may be temporary issues with connecting new homes to the energy grid, which is why a special system with a battery has been installed to ensure the homes have power to live comfortably. Residents are reminded to use power responsibly. The properties will be available for viewing in the last two weeks of August 2025 in a comparable home in the project. There will also be an information session after the viewing regarding the project. This house is a social rental property.
