In the center of Zoetermeer, newly renovated apartments have been completed (2018). An apartment will soon be available on the 6th floor. Nieuw Soetermeer has the appearance of a building where it is wonderful to live, instead of the office giant it used to be. The facade material consists of coated steel, featuring the pattern of the Zoetermeer flag. The transparency of certain parts, such as the panels on the balcony, gives a spacious, modern look to the entire building. Sustainability: The homes have an energy label A. Solar panels are installed on the roof, with the electricity benefiting the residences. Heating: The apartments are heated by means of radiators connected to a heat pump. This also allows for cooling of rooms in the units. Living rooms and bedrooms are all equipped with an individual thermostat. Walls, Floors, and Doors: The walls are delivered ready for wallpapering. The floors come as bare finished floors. The interior doors are finished in a light color, except for the entrance doors, which have an extra wear-resistant layer. Kitchen: The kitchen is delivered in high-gloss white. It is equipped with all conveniences, such as a fridge/freezer combo, extractor hood, combi oven/microwave, electric cooktop, kitchen faucet (Grohe), and an integrated dishwasher, all from the Siemens brand. The countertops are made of dark-colored synthetic material. Above the work surface, a backsplash will be placed in the same color as the countertop. Sanitary: The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a washbasin with an upper cabinet and mirror. The toilet is fitted with a wall-mounted toilet and a small sink. The luxury wall tiles in the bathroom and toilet space are white. The floor tile is anthracite. Outdoor Space: Each apartment has its own outdoor space. The ground-floor apartments each have a loggia. The apartments located on the upper floors have a balcony, and the apartments on top of the building have either a balcony or a spacious roof terrace. Storage and Bicycle Parking: On the ground floor of Nieuw Soetermeer, the storage spaces are located. Each apartment will receive its own storage space and access to the separate (bicycle) parking area.
