In the heart of South Hengelo, 69 affordable middle-income housing units will be available for rent. The homes are in the De Appendage project, located next to Esrein shopping center. The project consists of 36 modern apartments and 33 single-family homes, with robust architecture that matches the industrial atmosphere of the area. The homes range in size, with apartments ranging from 74-83 sq. ft. and family homes from 87-119 sq. ft. Each home features a modern kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Completion of the apartments is expected late this year, and of the family homes in early 2026. Interested parties can register through the project website.
