The house is located in Nieuwegein (the Batau district) in a quiet green environment, nearby shops and the tram station. The bus can be reached within a 3-minute walk. This is not a student house. The room is fully furnished and duvets, sheets, towels and more are provided. It is a nice bright room on the first floor and about 12 m2 with a view of the garden. The kitchen area is also fully equipped. You almost have to bring nothing yourself. Shared use of the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, laundry room, storage and garden. A bicycle is available for you. In about 35 minutes you can cycle from home to the city center or to the Science Park in Utrecht. By tram it is about 40 minutes to the Science Park. For more than 10 years I have rented this room to female students who do internships at an institute. Occasionally chatting and/or eating together is nice, but not required. I am retired, healthy and active, but live alone, and also like to do my own thing and let you go your own way in the house. Your visitors are welcome, also in the living room and on the terrace. However, smoking is not allowed. Pleasant young neighbors live here.
