Brasa Village – Building Canna - Cluster A: 2 rooms (6 homes)
Renting flexible homes Brasa village Amsterdam-Zuidoost
In the south of the H-neighborhood in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, on the edge of Brasapark, Rochdale, Eigen Haard and Ymere are building 520 flexible homes. These will stay here for 15 years. We call this new neighborhood Brasa village because the homes are located directly next to Brasapark.
Brasa village is a place where residents look after each other. Here you form a community together with your neighbors. This community is built by residents with support from community builders. In a number of buildings in Brasa there is a common space on the ground floor. Here activities for and by residents will be organized.
Diverse housing seekers get a home in Brasa village. In addition to the homes offered on MijnDak, there will also be homes for status holders, economically homeless and for people who work in healthcare, for the police or as a teacher.
- Flex: the homes stay for 15 years and then get a place elsewhere (they are movable); - Fast: thanks to modular construction in the factory, the construction takes only one year; - Centrally there will be facilities around a square along the Abcouderfietspad; - A new route from Brasa village with a bridge to the Bullewijk metro station is planned; - There will be a meeting place, which we call the Pavilion;
- Note: it is a low-traffic area. You cannot park and the municipality does not issue parking permits.
Allocation based on motivation
The allocation of these homes is different from what you are used to. After the advertisements are closed, the first 54 candidates receive a link to a motivation form. In this form there are questions about your motivation to live in Brasa village. Only candidates with sufficient motivation are invited for a viewing.
