About this room
Once a major KPN office building, Winschoterdiep has now been transformed into a vibrant home for over 300 students. With rooms starting at a generous 20m², the accommodations are spacious, and the charming inner courtyard offers the perfect setting to unwind after a long day. The Zernike Campus is less than a 25-minute bike ride away, and the city center is just five minutes from your doorstep. Whether it's a student association night, drinks with friends, or a picnic in the Noorderplantsoen—everything is within easy reach from Winschoterdiep. Groningen Central Station and the lively city center are only minutes away, making this location ideal for students with an active social life who love immersing themselves in the city.
Until now, rooms at Winschoterdiep were exclusively rented to international short-stay students. However, starting in September 2025, half of the building will also be available to regular (long-stay) students. This means you'll be living alongside both long-stay and short-stay residents.
All rooms in the building are single-occupancy and come with shared facilities: toilets, showers, and kitchens are shared with housemates of mixed gender.
