I’m subletting my apartment for a few months while I’m abroad, with a maximum of one person living in the flat. The available period is November to January, after which I will move back in. The 37 m² apartment includes a bathroom, kitchen and sleeping area. You share the landing with four other residents, which also houses the washing machine and dryer installed by the owner. The property qualifies for housing allowance (huurtoeslag), which can be up to €414 per month for eligible tenants (you must be at least 23 years old to qualify). If you’re under 23, you can respond and I may assist with the allowance. The building is above a restaurant, with the front door opening onto the restaurant terrace. The location is very central in Enschede: - Enschede Central Station: 5–10 minutes on foot - University: 15–20 minutes by bike - Saxion: 10–15 minutes on foot - City centre: right at your doorstep - Several supermarkets within 5–10 minutes on foot
Note: Some photos show old furniture that can be cleared. Some furniture can be left for you to use upon request. The landlord must approve the subtenant.

The higher the score, the more trustworthy the listing appears to be. Always exercise caution regardless of score.
Kamernet.nl is a major Dutch platform for finding rooms, studios, and apartments across the Netherlands, especially popular in student cities. Listings come from a mix of private landlords, property managers, and current tenants; some are marked as verified, but it’s still a marketplace—use common-sense scam checks. You can browse for free, but you must create an account and purchase a paid subscription to contact advertisers or schedule viewings. The site covers short- and long-term rentals and also includes anti-squat (antikraak) options.
