Den Haag (The Hague) is home to the Dutch government and parliament, the foreign embassies, the International Court of Justice in the Peace Palace and the International Criminal Court. Commuting from Den Haag starts at one of two main stations: Den Haag Centraal, a terminus beside the ministries, and Den Haag HS (Hollands Spoor), on the line south to Delft and Rotterdam. Times are by public transport, from Google Routes.

Rotterdam is about 18 minutes from Den Haag by public transport (23 km), by train via Delft or on the RandstadRail E line from Den Haag Centraal. It suits port and Erasmus University staff who prefer the Den Haag coast.
