Apartments, rooms and studios for rent in Stein

Commuting from Stein starts with a bus or bike ride to Sittard, where intercity trains head north to Eindhoven and the Randstad. Maastricht, the nearest big city with offices, a hospital and restaurants, lies south of Stein.

Eindhoven is about 93 minutes from Stein by public transit (88 km), with a change at Sittard. That works for two or three office days a week at an Eindhoven employer, and the drive on the A2 is shorter.

Utrecht is about 146 minutes from Stein by public transit, Rotterdam about 167 minutes and Amsterdam about 173 minutes. From Stein the Randstad is a place for occasional trips, not a daily commute.
